Product Features
This product features a hot-pluggable SFP+ footprint, supporting bit rates from 9.5 to 10.3Gb/s with a maximum link length of 40km. It operates on a single 3.3V power supply with power dissipation below 1.5W and includes a 1550nm EML transmitter, PIN photo-detector, duplex LC connector, and built-in digital diagnostic functions.
Applications and Standard:
The applications include 10GBASE-ER/EW 10G Ethernet standard, with compliance to SFF-8472 SFP+ MSA, SFP+ SFF-8431, and SFF-8432. It is also compliant with the 802.3ae 10GBASE-ER standard and fully RoHS compliant.
Recommended Operating Conditions:
The recommended operating conditions specify an operating case temperature (Tcase) from -5°C to 70°C (Note 1), ambient humidity (HA) between 5% and 85%, and a power supply voltage (VCC) ranging from 3.14V to 3.46V with a supply current (ICC) of 450mA. Power supply noise rejection is 100mVp-p at 100Hz to 1MHz, while the transmission distance supports up to 40km with a 16:1 split using single-mode fiber compliant with ITU-T G.653.
