Job Summary:

Job Summary:
- Troubleshoot and configure Optilink devices ONU, OLT,and Switches and provide corrective actions
- Testing of new devices which involves routing and switching hands on experience
- Act as technical escalation point of contact for Level 1 engineers
- Assist in the creation of Root Cause Analysiss (RCA), Assist in testing of new devices and networking protocols.
- Handle escalated and large configuration cases by visiting the customer site within Mumbai or out of Mumbai
Key competencies
Essential.
- 6 to 10 yrs. of experience in Switches—Juniper, CISCO etc. Good troubleshooting experience required
- 2 to 3 yrs experience in Firewall
- Strong industry based technical aptitude (e.g.TCP/IP and Application layer protocols)
- Good knowledge and troubleshooting experience on networking protocols (eg. SNMP, Ether channel, DNS, HSRP, Routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP etc. and switching protocols like VLAN, Trunking, STP, LACP etc.)
- Good knowledge of PON Technology – GPON, EPON.

Bachelors Degree Or relevant experience & proficiency
CCNA Must be Valid and also CCNP in Routing & Switching (Atleast course completed)

Ensure that the tickets raised per shift are closed as per SLA and if not escalate as per the escalation Matrix defined.
