Product Features
The product features an SFP+ package with an LC connector, a 1310nm DFB laser with a PIN photodetector, and supports up to 20km transmission on SMF with power dissipation under 1W. It offers an LVPECL-compatible data input/output interface, low EMI, excellent ESD protection, and complies with the IEC-60825 laser safety standard. Additionally, it is RoHS compliant and fully compatible with SFF-8472.
Absolute Maximum Ratings:
The absolute maximum ratings specify a storage temperature (Tst) range from -40°C to +85°C, a supply voltage (VCC) range of 0V to +3.6V, and an operating relative humidity (RH) between 0% and 85%, ensuring safe operating limits for the device.
Operation Environment:
The operating environment specifies a supply voltage (VCC) range from 3.15V to 3.45V, with an operating case temperature (Tc) of -5°C to +70°C for commercial use. The device supports a maximum power dissipation of 1W and a data rate of up to 10.3125Gbps.
Optical Characteristics:
The optical characteristics of the transmitter section include a center wavelength (λo) ranging from 1290nm to 1330nm with a typical value of 1310nm, a side-mode suppression ratio (SMSR) of 35dB, and an average output power (Po) between -8dBm and +0.5dBm. It also provides an extinction ratio (Er) of 3.5dB, a dispersion penalty of 3.2dB, and relative intensity noise (RIN12OMA) of -128dB/Hz.
