Managed 12-slot 100FX (SFP) + 2 Gigabit Multi-rate Layer 2+ Access Switch

The MEN-5314 Managed Access Switch is an industry-first small form-factor L2+ allfiber switch, equipped with 12 100Base-FX ports plus 2 Gigabit SFP slots (100/1000Base-SX/LX/LHX). The uplink SFP slots support multi-rate Gigabit and Fast Ethernet. The MEN-5314 is a Metro Ethernet Switch with several features suited for deployment in metro networks, particularly Fiber to the Home applications, including front-access power for ease of use in rackmounted environments, and management features including SNMP, RMON, plus powerful security and network management tools such as fine-tuned VLAN control and RSTP. Volktek is pleased to be able to deploy the latest model Broadcom chipset in the MEN-5314 to bring Layer 2+ features in a small, cost-effective package. Software features include trunking support, Loop Detection, and 802.1x support. With its small form-factor the MEN-5314 can installed in a desktop location, or in a rackmount with accompanying brackets.
